If you like cinnamon rolls, then this sweet and crunchy granola is for you! Homemade granola is incredibly easy to make and so much healthier than store-brought.
I’ve been shopping a lot lately. Because I am absolutely terrified of winter time in Germany, I’ve been stocking up on lots of sweaters, jeans, jackets (more jackets than I actually need), boots and socks, the really cute thick kind. My mom and I have also made a checklist of all the things I need to buy before leaving Thailand. We’ve hit tons of shopping malls the last few days.
The other day I was starving after having walked around for hours and carrying a huge amount of shopping bags, I walked past a Cinnabon store.
Oh man. Doesn’t the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls aka the one that tortures hungry people in shopping malls, wafting all around you makes you wanna drop everything immediately and stuff one in your mouth? Well, I couldn’t 🙁 It was almost time for dinner and my mom was just plain mean (love you, mom!).

Crisp on the outside, feathery light on the inside and topped with warm, delicious blueberry compote, these waffles will be your new favorite breakfast to have on Sunday mornings.
What would you rather have on a lazy Sunday morning: pancakes or waffles?
Impossible question, I know.

You just need to preheat your waffle iron, make a simple batter in the meantime and you’re only a few minutes from having the best Sunday morning breakfast ever.
No, scratch that.
Make it even better by preparing a simple berry compote to top your waffles. Continue reading
Sweet, tangy and cool, an acai berry bowl makes a great breakfast that satisfies even the strongest sweet cravings. It will make you feel amazing about your breakfast choice.
I love eating sweet things. Donuts, cookies, chocolate, oh yes chocolate. I’m a fat kid at heart, but aren’t we all? When I’m craving something sweet, it’s almost impossible to satisfy my cravings unless I stuff myself with a mouthful of cookie, dipped in chocolate.
But I also like being healthy whenever I can. It just makes me feel amazing, both mentally and physically, like when I’m out with my family and have a huge bowl of salad, while my mom bites off from a slice of pizza. It feels good to know that you’re taking care of your body and nourishing it right.
A combination of those two things however, sweet and healthy, can be almost impossible to find.
An acai bowl is the answer. Continue reading
