Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

This is my favorite smoothie recipe! It’s creamy, chocolatey, decadent and surprisingly healthy. Made in less than 10 minutes, maybe this smoothie will become your favorite too.


I’m moving to Germany in exactly 10 days. I really look forward to all the cute winter jackets, the hot chocolate before bed and the warm cup of tea in the mornings. It’ll be October when I get there, so the temperature will be much cooler than it ever will be in Thailand. Sure, I look forward to a lot of things, but you know what I’ll miss (in addition to my family and home, of course)? 

You guessed it. Super cold, refreshing smoothies.

I love to have smoothies after a workout, as a dessert, as a treat, as an afternoon snack, for breakfast… oh… all the time actually. While you’re reading this I’m probably slurping on one right now. Continue reading

I love eating sweet things. Donuts, cookies, chocolate, oh yes chocolate. I’m a fat kid at heart, but aren’t we all? When I’m craving something sweet, it’s almost impossible to satisfy my cravings unless I stuff myself with a mouthful of cookie, dipped in chocolate.

But I also like being healthy whenever I can. It just makes me feel amazing, both mentally and physically, like when I’m out with my family and have a huge bowl of salad, while my mom bites off from a slice of pizza. It feels good to know that you’re taking care of your body and nourishing it right.

A combination of those two things however, sweet and healthy, can be almost impossible to find.

Apple Gingerbread Smoothie

This is my first blog post ever (yay!) so I thought to myself what’s a better way to introduce myself to you than to start off with something that I probably have almost everyday: a smoothie. Smoothies are one of my favorite things to have for breakfast because firstly, Thailand is so scorching hot all the time and a cool refreshment in the morning really gives me a great energy kick, and secondly, healthy smoothies are so easy to make and they only use up less than 10 minutes of your valuable hectic morning time.

However, if you were the tiniest bit alike to someone like me, a newly graduated high school student who spends her days watching ‘Desperate Housewives’, waiting for universities to reply and taking long naps, you would not only have time to throw stuff into a blender, but also to make a pretty smoothie bowl. I think the reason people are in love with the idea of smoothie bowls is because they’re really fun to decorate and can end up so lovely that you almost (only almost!) wouldn’t want to dig in.
